New York City
A few of my favorite haunts and loves in New York City.
EAT: Buvette
Nestled on the most idyllic street in my favorite neighborhood, the West Village, Buvette is the perfect place for a cozy brunch, or sharing a few small plates with some well crafted late afternoon cocktails. Come summer, grab one of their gin cocktails and a table outside— and come winter, snuggle into a small bistro table and order the Coq a Vin and a glass of red. You will find the refined yet cozy atmosphere Parisian to say the least. Buvette’s other location is appropriately located in Paris, which is always on the top of my list when I travel there as well.

Blue Stripes
Blue Stripes is the sister cafe to Max Brenner, the chocolate based restaurant in Union Square— but all grown up. Instead of chocolate, cacao is what the menu is based around. I often stop in for a coffee (best coffee I’ve ever had in NYC!) and rich chocolate treat. Love fondue? They’ve got it. My personal favorite treat is perfect for those scalding summer days- what they call a Turtle Cream: your pick of vanilla bean or chocolate soft serve, with either a milk or dark chocolate syrup that hardens on top. Blue Stripes is the perfect spot for a quick lunch or to meet a friend, and an even better place to bring your laptop, and work. Now accommodating outdoor seating too! Oh, and they deliver!
